Originally built as a wealthy merchant's house in the 1740's, the hotel re-opened in 1990 following a full refurbishment, which included returning the front of the hotel to its originally splendour.
Located in the oldest part of the city it has the Roman Baths, Thermae Spa, Bath Abbey, Pulteney Bridge, Sally Lunns, Bath Rugby Club, Parade Gardens, the main shopping centre and great restaurants all on its doorstep.
This hotel boasts 60 ensuite bedrooms which have been recently refurbished to create a 'homely' feel. All rooms feature satellite TV, Internet access, direct dial telephone, trouser press and tea & coffee making facilities.
