The traditional seaside resort of Corton sits atop a cliff with spectacular views over the sea, with steps down to the beach. Its compact site is prettily landscaped and is a riot of colour in spring and summer.
Among Corton's many unusual claims to fame is its links to mustard.Towards the end of the 19th century, the head of the Colman family acquired the estate, turning the already beautiful setting into one of the loveliest gardens on the east coast. As the Colman estate fragmented, pretty Corton eventually passed into the hands of Warner Leisure Hotels, who transformed it into the traditional friendly seaside resort that is famous now. Today, Corton's local attractions, views and traditions of rustic comfort and homeliness still prevail.
Corton Coastal Resort offers a complete break away - inclusive of half board accommodation, leisure pursuits & nightly entertainment. Leisure activities include Boules, Putting Green and Short Mat Bowls. There's also a host of daytime activities to participate in. The leisure club offers a Swimming Pool, Sauna and Steam room. Health and Beauty treatments are also available - ask at time of booking. Standard Chalets include bath/shower, TV, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.
