The hotel was great as was the service and catering. However no walking information was provided which was a shame as it was a ramblers retreat and we didnt know the area. I found using the iron in the room a bit difficult due to is position (as it was attached to the wall and the amount of light in the room. Other than that It was all good.

THe hotel was mainly built for conferences and the room was a long way from the main reception, bar and swimming pool . That was the only downside - what made the hotel was the staff, without exception they all went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible.

The weather was wet and wind, so we ended up staying inside the hotel the whole weekend! The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. The pool was warm to swim in and we had a really nice and relaxing time.

For what is a conference hotel, this one offers good size rooms, excellent food and a relaxing bar area. Loads of parking, nice staff and very clean. Great value, and only a £5 taxi ride into swindon if you fancy pubs, shopping etc.
