Please note: you should not need to travel through the village of Scalford.
M1 - From North: Leave motorway at Junction 24. Turn left onto A6 through Kegworth on on towards Loughborough. At end of dual carriageway (1 mile) turn left onto A6006 signposted Rempstone & Melton Mowbray. On entering Melton Mowbray town, go straight over traffic lights and turn left at 2nd traffic lights into Scalford Road, which converts to Melton Road. Scalford Hall is approximately 3 miles on left-hand side.
M1 - From South: Exit Junction 21a. Take A46 LEICESTER BYPASS towards Newark. Follow A46 left at roundabout (6 miles). Ignore Melton Mowbray directions at first exit and continue onto Sixhills. Leave A46 at SIXHILLS and turn left onto B676. At crossroad's turn right onto A6006 towards Melton Mowbray. On entering Melton Mowbray Town straight over traffic lights and turn left at 2nd traffic lights into Scalford Road, which converts to Melton Road. Scalford Hall is approximately 3 miles on left-hand side.
A1- From North: Leave A1 at 3rd GRANTHAM exit and turn right onto A607 into Melton Mowbray. On entering the Town, pass St Mary's Hospital on the left. At traffic lights turn right into Norman Way (signposted A606 Loughborough & Nottingham). At second set of lights turn right ( B & H Midland are on the right hand corner). Having turned right, the Cattle Market is on your left and you are now on Scalford Road, which converts to Melton Road. Scalford Hall is approximately 3 miles along the Scalford Road on left-hand side.
A1- From South: Leave A1 at 3rd STAMFORD exit and turn left onto A606 via OAKHAM into Melton Mowbray. On entering Melton Mowbray Town, over the railway bridge into the town's one-way system. Keep to the right hand lane, turn right at the traffic lights and pass Barclays Bank on your right. At the next set of traffic lights turn into A607. Keep to the left hand lane and turn left at the next set of traffic lights into Scalford Road, which converts to Melton Road (50 yards). Scalford Hall is approximately 3 miles along the Scalford-Melton Road on left-hand side.
M6- From Birmingham: Leave M6 at Junction 4A onto M42 towards Tamworth/Derby. At the end of M42 take A42 towards Nottingham. Join M1 going north staying in the left hand lane. Leave M1 at Junction 24 and follow the "M1-From North" directions.
M6- From South East: Leave M6 at Junction 2 onto M69 towards Leicester. At the end of M69 join M1 (Junction 21) going North. Leave M1 at the next Junction 21A. Follow "M1-From South" directions.
A151- From The East: Take A151 from Bourne To Colsterworth. Take B676 from Colsterworth To Melton Mowbray. On entering Town go straight over two sets of traffic lights. At the Third set of traffic lights turn right into Scalford Road. Scalford Hall is approximately 3 miles along the Scalford-Melton Road on left-hand side.
By Rail
Melton Mowbray has regular trains to Birmingham, Leicester, Peterborough & Norwich, all main line stations with regular connections to the rest of the United Kingdom.
By Air
East Midlands Airport to Scalford Hall 28 miles /46 minutes. Birmingham Airport to Scalford Hall 57 Miles /1 hour 16 minutes.
