Established in 1999, hotelshopUK is a privately owned company specialising in booking 2-5 star accommodation and short breaks throughout the UK for both the leisure and business traveller. We also have specialist divisions providing a booking service for group organisers and a meetings and conference desk for our business clients.

Current Vacancies:

Marketing Manager (Full time - 40 hours per week)

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing

Salary: £23-25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are looking for an experienced Marketeer to join their expanding Sales and Marketing team.

Do you have at least two year's marketing experience (preferably on-line) in the leisure or travel industry and want to work in a growing, entrepreneurial hotel and short break specialist business that is fast on its way to becoming one of the most successful in the UK? Does the prospect of working in an informal, dynamic and collaborative environment with skilled, supportive colleagues appeal? Do you have experience of managing direct reports?
You will have a background in Marketing with experience in the travel or hotel industry. You will need to ensure the team’s KPIs and targets are achieved. You will ensure delivery of an effective marketing plan that supports the company’s strategy, and you will identify and recruit key suppliers to assist in the growth of product offering. You will need to be highly literate with excellent communications skills, offer good numerical ability, and be customer focused and willing to go the extra mile in what is a highly fast paced online environment.

Key Roles:
Designing and Executing marketing strategy across multiple media channels for two different brands.
Delivering the agreed ROI for our partner hotels.
Managing direct reports within the marketing team to ensure targets and individual KPI’s are  met/exceeded.
Working with the team to devise customer retention strategy and customer loyalty programme.
Produce management information on the marketing performance.
Identify, recruit and build relationships with key suppliers.
Identify commercial viable new marketing channels.

Skills required:
Degree level or equivalent
Minimum 2 years marketing experience including on-line
Experience of managing direct reports
Ideally from a travel/hotel background
Computer literate and Competent in Microsoft Office

Sales Executive (Full time - 40 hours per week)

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing

Salary: Negotiable (dependent on experience)

As a result of the recent launch of our new leisure brand Great Little Breaks, we are now recruiting a Sales Executive to help the company continue its growth.

A sales driven individual is required to join the expanding Sales team to pro-actively promote hotelshopUK and Great Little Breaks to potential partner hotels and to recruit them as marketing partners.
The role is target driven and relies on researching and developing effective sales leads in identified need areas, account managing an existing client portfolio and achieving agreed targets.
The role will have full training but will rely on the candidate being self motivated and driven to ensure targets are hit and exceeded.

Skills required:
Excellent communication skills
Minimum 2 years previous sales experience is a must
Hotel/travel industry experience is preferred but not essential
Self motivated & driven towards targets
Clean driving licence
Team player
Computer literate and Competent in Microsoft Office

Sales Support (Part time - 20 hours per week)

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing

Salary: £14,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

You will be the key support role for the Sales team. A varied role covering aspects of both administration and new sales.

Key Roles:
Responsible for all administrative aspects of the On Business and Leisure Sales teams.
Assisting with contracts for new hotels. Appointment preparation, proposals and reports.
Deal with all hotel leads that come into the Sales Department sending out initial information and qualifying for rest of the team.
Sales research, identifying areas for targeting, including CRO’s, hotels and companies.
Support and work with Sales and Marketing Director to ensure reports and figures are collated and department targets are met.
Support and work with the On Business Head of Sales including: weekly new Business report and follow up call; On Line training to bookers and follow up from Review Meetings.
Support hotelshopUK by providing assistance to other departments as and when required.

Skills required:
Excellent communication skills
Hotel/travel industry experience is preferred but not essential
Team player
Computer literate and Competent in Microsoft Office

Marketing Assistant (Part time - 20 hours per week)

Reporting to the Marketing Manager

Salary: £14,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the company database and website content, ensuring it is correct and relevant at all times, and assisting the Marketing Team with ongoing initiatives and developments.

Key Roles:
Maintain hotel database and website by ensuring all descriptions, images, rate loading and availability are up-to-date and accurate.
Maintain customer database by ensuring all contact details and email addresses are up-to-date and accurate.
Support Marketing Team with any initiatives as they arise.
Police website to ensure hotel rates are competitive and hotel availability is reasonable.
Support hotelshopUK by providing assistance to other departments as and when required.

Skills required:
Excellent communication skills
Hotel/travel industry experience is preferred but not essential
Team player
Computer literate and Competent in Microsoft Office
