Built in 1937 at Hayling Island, Hampshire, Lakeside Coastal Resort was originally called 'Coronation' after the accession that year of King George VI. Yet Lakeside's atmosphere is as warm, friendly and down-to-earth as you'll find. Beyond the village, the views across the nearby yachting marina are simply idyllic and the sea is a pleasant 20-minute stroll away.
As you're greeted by friendly staff and fellow guests alike, it's difficult to imagine any other resort matching Lakeside's sense of belonging. Neat, well-appointed chalets are laid out with every thought for your ease and convenience, and there are landscaped gardens with lake views over Chichester Harbour. The village feeling extends to a central courtyard and while community & companionship are there if you want, itÕs equally easy to slip your moorings and be alone with your partner, your friends, the swans and sea-birds, the glorious coastal views....or simply your thoughts.
Lakeside Coastal Resort offers a complete break away - inclusive of half board accommodation, leisure pursuits & nightly entertainment. Leisure activities include Archery, Tennis, Air Rifle Shooting and Indoor Bowls Complex. There's also a host of daytime & activities to participate in. The leisure club offers an Indoor Swimming pool, Steam Room and Sauna. Health and Beauty treatments are also available.
Standard Chalets include bath/shower, TV, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.
