Originally designed and built in the 18th Century, The Argyll Hotel is one of the finest and most historic hotels on the west coast of Scotland, located in the Royal Burgh Inveraray, on the shores of Loch Fyne and Shira.
The hotel offers traditional high quality accommodation, welcoming friendly staff, stunning views and superb food. Open log fires, peaty malts, comfortable lounges & conservatories with views over Loch Fyne, make The Argyll the perfect destination for both business and leisure guests.
The Argyll hotel is over 250 years old, which lends a huge amount of charm and individuality to all of the bedrooms. All 36 rooms are en-suite, most with showers, although baths do feature in some of the rooms. All bedrooms also feature TV's, direct dial telephones, hairdryers, wireless Internet access and tea & coffee making facilities. All bedrooms are non-smoking.
The restaurant offers an extensive A la carte menu, with dishes to suit every palette on a traditional table d'hote menu. Here you will have the opportunity to sample the best of all that is Scottish, with fresh locally sourced produce used in the delicious seasonal menus. There is also a bar lounge, where Open log fires and peaty malts await you, along with a delicious bar food menu for you to enjoy.
Originally designed and built in the 18th Century, the Argyll Hotel provides guests with an ideal base for touring the beautiful countryside of the Western Highlands and Islands.
